Summit meeting US - Romania in the Medical Field

Health Minister Dr. Alexandru Rafila, Mount Sinai International President, Szabolcs Dorotovics flanked by a couple of "aids", one of them, Mr. Alexandru Mihai Borcan, State Secretary - during an official meeting in Bucharest last week.

The main topic discussed was the future of the healthcare business in Romania and the progress made on the launching of the MMD MSI Hospital in the country, the first US facility in Europe. An encouraging site to review during the meeting, the scale model of the new – soon-to-be built - Emergency Hospital in Cluj. The man in the red jacket does not work for SMURD (Romania’s EMS Department). He simply became a casualty of a TAROM delay that day. Due to the flight late arrival, making an attire change impossible before this important meeting.
